"DHT is an absolutely invigorating stimulant to your entire body's well-being."

Yes, and also a stimulant for...prostate hyperplasia and cancer.
Come on, do you have scientific backup for this asertion?

________________________

let's start with what is universally agreed upon: reducing DHT levels before the age of 18 will prevent a guy's penis from developing to the same extent it would have otherwise. So with that as a starting point ... do you really think that a few years later, reducing DHT levels to a very low level can possibly have no sexually related effects, at least in some men? DHT wouldn't still be a part of our makeup if it had strictly negative effects, it would have been selected out by now. True, maybe some guys are not sexually 'sensitive' to low DHT levels, just like many guys have no sensitivity at all to DHT with respect to their scalp hair. Lucky them. But I'm finding it hard to believe that 95% of guys on propecia notice no difference in their emotional / physical / sexual persona compared to when they weren't taking it.

And to show how confusing things are, this was big news a few weeks ago.

Thats not how evolution works. DHT does not have strictly negative effects; it is necessary for a male to develop. This doesn't mean it is necessary after development. Just because something no longer is necessary doesn't mean it will be selected out. DHT is in no way preventing procreation so I don't see how it would be "selected out" over time.

Then don't take it if you're experiencing constant illness. How stupid can you be to continue taking the pill if it is causing you constant distress, that is literally all on you. Ridiculous to compare it to a chronic illness that you have no choice over getting. Also this study shows that hormones are not altered after ceasing use of finasteride. People with PFS have no androgen deficiency. Get your hormone levels checked before you assume that finasteride screwed them up.

i didnt realise it was the drug that was making me ill. i was only looking out to see if my dick still worked you moron. sexual sides are the only ones most people are aware about when taking this thing. but it does so much more than that.

yes obviously i should have stopped it earlier, by some people get pfs after a short time, days or weeks and IS IT LIKE A CHRONIC ILLNESS. you obviously havnt experienced it so you cant compare. why the f*** do you think there are multiple websites set up with thousands of poor fuckers who lives have been turned upside down.

blood tests are f*****g useless. doctors are usless. if they were relevant all those guys would be cured by now. if had any idea about pfs you would know that. but u dont. you just reading some useless bs by guys who have no idea what the f*** they are talking about

Thanks for reading my posts. I experienced side effects during (9 months of use) and after ceasing medication (1 year, 6 months). Side effects do not necessarily go away. And they do not necessarily go away immediately after stopping the medication. In my case, it took a very, very long time. And although symptoms were heavily improved after 1 month of stopping the medication, it took a long time to feel completely myself again.

Today I can safely say that after several weeks of feeling absolutely normal, I am finally physically and psychologically healthy again after the gruelling comedown from the hormonal effects caused by finasteride. It has been a year and a half of suffering.

I should feel outraged by the experience I went through, but today, like many people who suffered from chronic illnesses, am just happy that the nightmare is over.

Do not take finasteride. It is a horrible medication that like many, causes more problems than it solves. Your hormones are an invaluable asset to your physical and psychological health. They are pivotal to your identity as a man, and your place in this existence.

If you're thinking of starting finasteride, don't. The true problem that needs to be solved is within yourself. Stop placing so much value on your physical appearance. Embrace who you are, and learn to love the person within. You are not hair. You are a beautiful and loving human being that deserves to witness and interact with the world with uncompromised integrity.

Don't let yourself become lost. Be bald. Be free. Don't let the standards of others chain you down, or allow their thoughts to control you. You are more than hair.

One thing I have to know, are you a virgin?

If so, how old?
