Going back on Propecia - what dose to start with?

Hi,

I'm considering going back to Propecia after about 8-9 months off. I used it for 4 years with no major sides (that I know of), and started off with the 1 pill per day routine. Should I go straight back in like this or should I ease myself into it, for example 1 pill every other day? I find cutting it a bit of a nightmare so would prefer to avoid that.

I'm on my 3rd day and wasn't sure how to start but my Doctor said just go with the prescribed dose 1 mg/day- how were your results while on it? Thickening? Regrowth?

Good plan, but just so you know, cutting the pills are really no problem at all.

Dunno, when I've tried it splits into all awkward pieces. Maybe I'm not doing it right. I just take a knife and try to slice through the middle.

I had great results. Took about 2 years before I noticed but I was able to grow my hair long again without it looking too thin/sparse. My hair was thicker and there was regrowth around the crown and top. You can read more on my story here - http://www.gourmetstylewellness.com/interac...-years-on-Propecia-with-great-results-now-off

When do people recommend taking the pill? I used to take it just before going to bed, but now I'm thinking with a meal might be better.
