Going Bald At 17 It's Bad Need Advice Please Reply

okay so I know I have male pattern baldness everybody on my mom side has it I know my hair is going it started at 15 now I'm 17 im been on minoxidil since 15 once daily . And ketokonzal 2% of and on but I'm back on it full time now that my hair is shorter . my question to you guys are once I turn 18 May 10th of this year I'm gong to get on finasteride you guys think it can save what I have by doing that or is my hair loss to serve

Finasteride could definitely help you. Be really careful though and do research on dosage, there's not a big difference between 0.2 mg and 1 mg, so you might want to consider cutting any 1 mg cap in half. This is a powerful drug to f*** around with at your age, be sure you know what you're doing and monitoring you sides carefully.

Its difficult to tell if you have hair loss from your pictures. If you do have hair loss, you haven't lost much yet. I recommend you make an appointment with a dermatologist to get a professional opinion. Finasteride can be expected to save what you have left, with a good chance of some additional regrowth.

hairline is starting to develop miniaturized hairs, which can be see when you pull your hair back.

Notice how the left temple in pic is starting to develop recession. Typically this is how it starts, once side will be more prominent then the other while you will have hair that's diffusing in the process.

Personally, I would monitor the situation closley and start with minioxidil at the crown and hairline. Also worth haveing a consult with a hair restoration surgeon, and have him check under a microscope for miniaturization

I don't think he was saying it to be mean. The fact is that very few guys do look good bald. You have to have exactly the right head shape, facial features, physique, skin tone, and be reasonably tall to be able to pull off the bald look. I'm considered a good-looking guy by people I know, but I know I would look bad if I was bald. My head is too egg-shaped to look good bald, but having hair masks that.

but ur hair looks fine at least for now ... maybe try natural dht blocker like green tea pumpkin seed oil or fish oil till ur 18

Hey man, its good that you are taking action to fight hairloss. Yours right now is minor which is a good thing. finasteride is a must when you hit 18, you should try saw palmetto and fenugreek in the mean time.. they are natural dht inhibitors and can be purchased cheaply at any age online male pattern baldness is a real c*** of a genetic disease. I got it early too at 14, im 20 now and still have fairly decent hair. I am on treatments.
