I have tried three times a month per try in oral AA’s, side are there, sides are real.

I’m going to ease into topcial Dutasteride I’ve used it twice. 2 days with topical Finasteride on alternate days. I might also try RU.

I just can’t f*****g handle the hair fall anymore. It’s not about vanity or how my hair looks it’s the torment of the constant shed. The shed hairs are now short and long, all thin. I think I’m going to drink myself to death.
Yes try RU and topical finasteride/duta, they are your only hope. Give them time, be patient.

Topical Finasteride has done f*** all even at 1% dumped all over my head. If I can’t stop shedding nothing will matter. These are July 2019 photos, thought it was terrible but it was mainly crown and vertex 9 months later it’s dead everywhere, flat, miniaturization on hairline, back, and sides. This is more than aging, you don’t age 10 years in 9 months. All the while on Topical Finasteride and Oral Minoxidil. New photo hides a lot but it’s all thin .5 on the hairline that will go soon and the same thinning is just hidden by the length.

You look in the mirror, see your shitty hairline even though you are not out of puberty fully. Then this dude comes and cries for no reason.

Sucks for everyone. Young guys must be a f*****g nightmare. I am grateful and still f*****g miserable that I can’t make a f*****g difference trying to slow or stop it.

That was me 9 months ago. The forelock and vertex are down to one thin long strip. I thought I was in bad shape last July when that was taken and thinning was only vertex and crown. Not sure what’s up but I’m using way too much topical Finasteride, Dutasteride and a Propecia once or twice a week to be losing ground so fast. Maybe there something else going on. When I can go a day and feel like I’m losing 200 hairs I will shut the f*** up and donate to the cause.

this is today. flat with no strength or density, 50%-60% miniaturization in the entire NW6, some crazy retograde...

feels like sh*t. Can still Make it look good. But WTF it’s one thing to recede. At my age I’d take a thick Nw2/3 to this diffuse nightmare any day.

9 months ago that was a dense hairline. It’s diffused all over, .75 inches back on the hairline. And more than anything shedding 200+ daily while on treatments.

I’m here crying like a baby not because it looks bad but because I can’t stop it and the shed is a constant reminder. If I wasn’t on treatment, if it didn’t come out of know where, if I thought it was only male pattern baldness, I’d stop but the way it started at 40 from perfect dense hair to what it now is a torture.

If that bald bastard had some ideas on what to do when Finasteride doesn’t work, I’d risk it. Just paid for a consultation online from a knowledgeable but unlikely source. Thinks it’s all T3 / Free T shedding related, accelerating miniaturization from age and male pattern baldness. If I can get the thyroid right maybe I can tolerate the AAs. Two days on Dutasteride and one Propecia and I lose my sh*t.

photo at age 32 dense NW0, hell -1, 10 years all the same, then my sh*t fell apart in 3 years.

Dude you honestly look better now with the super minuscule hair loss you have, than from that last picture at 32. I would not worry at all if I was you and just log off this site forever and enjoy your life.

Your hair looks completely natural right now, in fact its upper 99% percentile for your age.

From your old picture, you might have had the lowest hairline I have ever seen on a man.

If you people don’t see how fast my hair has deteriorated you’re blind. I get most people started this awhile ago and have become more bald. Doesn’t f*****g matter when I’m watching my hair fall out and not regrow daily and when NOTHING IS f*****g WORKING TO CONTROL IT. Unfortunately this sh*t forum is at least exposed to enough information that I can at least learn about possible directions to try.

The crazy f*****g thing is this strange desire for people here to equate taken dangerous drugs with courage or manhood, like be tough - cut your balls off and cope...

What are you thyroid levels and thyroid antibodies levels? From what I see, it looks exactly like what you been told. Loss of density due to thyroid, age, probably stress now due to your obsession with your hair, a very mild case of male pattern baldness. Is your hair greasy from sweat?

Not greasy at all. But back of my head covered in folliculitis. Thyroid levels have been steady for two years. Weird and low IGF1, high prolactin, low AF ferritin...

Any thoughts on the way the back of the head is thinning compared to crown and hairline? Is this not an example of DUPA? I get that age will cause thinning but thyroid is fine right now.

I don't consider that DUPA because your density is still normal for your age. If you look carefully, your density is fairly uniform all over your scalp. David Beckham is close to your age and check out his density now. When your hair looks like that, then you can call that Diffuse Pattern Alopecia.
