Going To My Doctor To Get Prescribed Dutasteride

Here’s about baseline wet hair. I’m going to take a shower and take a photo now. I wasn’t even diffusing other than the crown at this point.

Here are three different lighting spots of my wet hair now. Thoughts on the progression?

Not too sure, but to me your crown looks fine. Maybe you need to prevent it from getting worse but I doubt anyone would notice your balding.

I’m in a similar condition as yours. I’ve been using finasteride for 6 months and I’ve yet to see any results(probably got worse). I’m considering Dutasteride, but I’m worried about having side effects(duta is a different animal), also worried that I’m not giving finasteride enough time.

Anyways, your hair looks great and it’s improving. You’re parting your hair while it’s wet and expect it not to show any scalp!
I know how one can be his harshest critic, and you think your hair is getting terrible but it’s really not. This is why it’s important to get another opinion besides yourself or take before and after pictures.
YOU DON’T NEED DUTA YET!! If you take it, you’ll be forced to take it for the rest of your life because you’ll be too scared to drop it.
Get a second opinion, maybe a gf, best friend, family member someone you trust and then you can decide for yourself

Your crown doesn't look that bad and it looks the same. Lighting in the baseline photo is also not as bright as your current. I would stay on finasteride as long as you can before switching to dupa. However, I could be wrong and Dupa would possibly help. You never know what to do with hairloss!! It sucks

I was in the same boat as you and i ordered dupa online about 4 months ago. I have yet to start taking it and am still on finasteride. The reason why I held off is because my hair looked the same in my baseline and current photos. I still shed and it feels thinner but it looks the same according to others.
