Going to the barber

So I've been feeling pretty good about my hair recently, using rogaine and nizoral for the past few years has really thickened my hair up enough to style it properly.

However, I went to the barber yesterday and the only person working was some new girl. I just asked for about half an inch off my hair but she didn't seem to listen.

Not only did she cut the hair around my v-shaped hair line really short, she also completely used the god damn thinning scissors to thin my hair out as much as possible!! I mean wtf!

I'm left with some ****ing weird military style hair cut with a huge widows peak.

Anyone else have any disastrous trips to the barber?

Oh yes, of course, before I started finasteride I went to a different barber because my usual one wasn't available at the time, and I asked for a little trim and a 3 on the back and sides and she butchered me, she cut so short that when I looked at in the mirror my face went as red as a tomato, I told her I wasn't happy and she said, and I quote "No, no, no, I cut it how you asked, it seems you are thinning on the left side" and my heart sunk, never felt so embarrassed in my life, I handed her the money, put my hoodie on, and the hood went straight up and I walked home, thankfully it was raining so I didn't look out of place.

But when I got home and looked at I almost started to cry, it was right then I knew I was starting finasteride. Now that my hair is thick again I actually look forward to going the barbers, although I think I'll be holding out until this shed passes, lol.

I'm Irish too, IrishFella (well Northern Irish but still), where do ya get your finasteride? I'm thinking of starting but the side effects scare the **** outta me. You had any?

Plus my hair like NEVER falls out and I've heard that you have to expect to lose hundreds of hairs on finasteride sheds
