Hey Guys,

I am new around here. For details on my hair loss history and regime, please refer to my other thread http://www.gourmetstylewellness.com/interact/showthread.php/67230-My-Hairloss-story-Pics-Inside

Would love some more feedback there.

So, I went to this clinic that deals exclusively with skin and hair problems. It's a chain all over the country(India) It has poor online reviews. So, I went in for a consultation and they took around 10 strands of my hair and sent it to their lab for testing.

I am not sure if this so called hair analysis is accurate or pseudo science.

The doctor said that 20% of the hair were in Anagram phase(growing phase) while 80% were in Telogen phase(Falling phase) She also said that roots of my hair were 10% weak and body was 70% weak.

Also, she showed my some pics and said a lot of my hair had oily roots. I am uploading pics and dont know what to infer by these. Can some of you who are knowledgeable throw some light on this.

They do not prescribe allopathy but have their own natural supplements.
They wanted to prescribe Serenoa Complex which has Saw Palmetto ’extract’ and Horsetail ’extract’ as the main ingredients. They claim that its a natural DHT blocker without the side effects but I dont want to experiment with something that has no track record.
