Habeas, thank you for being genuine and honest for the first time. I understand where you are coming from, even though I don't necessarily know your reasons. No one is asking you to be polite, but I would really appreciate if you could be a little more respectful. You obviously don't agree with me, but I've got my reasons for my beliefs and so do you.

The fact that you have a full head of hair makes it difficult for you to truly empathize and realize how difficult hair loss really is. If you went through it yourself, who's to say you wouldn't decide to take the risk to treat it? You have often tried to explain that hair loss is only cosmetic and to just move on with life, but in reality it can feel like you got hit by a bus. It was probably the single most traumatic event in my life, and if not for finasteride, I believe I would still be in the same depression I was in before. It might sound like an overreaction to you, but almost every guy on this forum goes through the same thing.

Also, could you please remove those quotes from your signature? The only reason you have them there is to try to get under my skin, and I construe this as an attempt at trolling and being disrespectful. You said that your intent was to warn people about finasteride, so how does putting things I said in your signature achieve this? Try and reach some common ground with me here.

You don't have any hair loss and this is the way you want to help save people in the world Habeas? Why not go help out at a soup kitchen or support homeless vets or something? Saving people from the hazards of finasteride is your chosen cause with all the problems in the world? Do you realize how illogical that sounds?

Why not go warn people about the hazards of feeding their kids antidepressant drugs that have been demonstrated to have strong occurrences of increased suicidal thoughts and depression. You know, something of significance where it, you know, causes people to die.

I don't have hairloss and never took Propecia. I am aware of the dangers and feel everyone should be adequately warned. I said this before, adequately warning people about the risks and benefits of a drug is far more important than politeness over the Internet. I've exchanged PM's with zeroes and I am now aware of the forum rules and how the forum is managed.

Trust me pal, if you ever do experience hairloss, and I genuinely hope you don't, you'll see exactly what it does to ones mentality. It's indescribable pain and depression, yes, some people are devastated by it.

There is a reputation system now guys. Please use it. All you have to do is "Rate the Post" (see link under usernames on each post).

Eventually those who are not helpful will have a big sign plastered on their posts that they aren't helpful.

Then it just becomes funny to watch them continue posting. Its like someone walking around with a sign on their forehead saying "Ignore me".

Habeus ... you aren't by chance affiliated with a lawfirm that is seeking to get money from these Propecia Lawsuits are you?

That crossed my mind, given you have never experienced hair loss, and yet you've set up shop on a Hair Loss forum purely for the purpose of alerting people to the dangers of Propecia.

And then there's your extremely "Legal" sounding username ....

Hello guys/gals.. I have been reading this forum about hair loss a good bit especially today.. I wanted to chime in and say that I have been taking Propecia for around 4 months and I see hair growing in placing where it hasn't grown in years. I started balding at 13 and I am 31 now. I shaved my head in my 20's because I was just ashamed I had so little on top. I had some success with Rogaine but not a lot but then I went to my dermatologist and asked him about Propecia.. He said that it would work but it would take time. I was looking at $8000 to $10000 hair transplant surgery. I am not saying that I will grow back a thick head of hair but it is working on my crown and I am seeing results around my hairline. I am thinking of adding Rogaine back to my daily routine and perhaps a laser comb, but not 100% sure. Propecia or finasteride is a WONDERFUL product and it has worked very well for me.

I don't work for any rx companies so I have nothing to gain from lying I just want to let other people who are suffering like I am that this product works..
