Grease 2 cast balding guy—as a high school student

I was watching Grease 2 and there was a scene in the school cafeteria and I noticed a balding guy in the lunch line. I just thought it was interesting that they would cast a guy who was clearly balding, and cast him as a high school student. And what's more is that they put him making out with a girl.

lol this was a handful of years ago. They wouldn't even dare to cast a balding guy in for a high school part in modern times. People are way, waaay more superficial now.

It seems some recession on the hairline it's still acceptable, but everyone and their grandma easily spot a horsehoe and deem it as bald in this day and age.
