Growout Pics Volume #1

If you are all keeping up with my "Project X" thread, here are the first of many pictures to come on my hair growout campaign. Below is the longest I have had my hair since 2 years. I have a #5 clipper on top, and a #3 on the sides with micro blend on the sideburns and back. As you can see, I have also begun my beard shadow from my "Beards" thread.

i agree, no offense, but you're already ugly.. a bald head isn't going to do much difference

Hey X, Your head does look better when its shaved down to how you had it before. You can tell where you are receding. The short fade on top didnt show much. Either way continue growing that fro and see how it comes out! Good Luck :freaked2:

You are obviously one of those guys who spends many hours on their appearance, but that's okay, most of us do the same or we wouldn't be here. Anyway I'm wondering how you look with some light actually over your head, or the back of your head.... but that's all you want to show I guess. But anyway good look... you got that whole bad boy thing going on... girls are drawn to that....

Thats crap! He clearly has receeding temples, but as he keeps his hair short & neat, this hides the fact. One templ looks a little worse than the other to me, i have the same pattern!

Besides that, things look good & you clearly have more balls than most ppl as your confident in posting pics here!

Keep up with the minoxidil on the hairline/temples & why noy add some 2% spironolactone aswell? I'm thinking of doing this...

You guys need to see those poor bastards at the gym with the huge bald crown in the middle of there heads or the bald patch in the back of a healthy head of hair. That is when you know you have problems this is not a problem from what I can see. Remember some guys have thin hair and some don't. If you are fortunate enough to have thick hair you are blessed.

It's all relative ofcoourse, even a small ammount of recession for a young guy in his early twenties can be very depressing!!!

As for the guys at the gym, there are a LOT of steroid users out there, and IF they have sensitive follicles, then their hair is truly FUCKED!

-most of us are sick of seeing your pics- they're ALL the same and show your hairline in a dark room- why not show us something else, like outside in the sun or something- you're trying to hide certain things with those pics

-you spend 2 or 3 hours before taking those pictures prettying yourself up, with the chain, cutting your hair, blah blah... lol

-you DO have receded temples, but you're disguising them with the style in which you're cutting your hair- a high hairline, with straight-cut corners- dude how much work do you put into that every day? lol you're so delicate, man


anyhow the average person who knows nothing about hairloss wouldn't think twice about you losing your hair.

Hmm, since noone else seemed to respond to your latest post on this thread. I'll help you out.

Bob Booley is a wallflower. You know the type you don't notice, until he stands up for something that thinks will get him respect, but ends up making him look like a fool. Yeah. I dont' get your negativity, or your reason to lash out on XL...maybe you could explain that to us. And quite honestly, your posts had absolutely no benefit to this board. Have a nice day.

So that would also include you since you are the first to mention it correct? I appreciate your efforts to boost my self esteem. And yes, in representation of all the gentlemen in this board, self-esteem does take a big hit with hair loss, so any bit of encouragement is a step in a positive direction.

I have no bald spots and no diffuse thinning therefore I do not use cover-ups such as Toppik or Couvre. So I'm trying to cover up what, a receded hairline? I think that’s pretty visible with my camera's flash.

Allot of work. That's why I still have hair remaining on my head. You should try it sometime. Delicate? Speak for yourself, since you "probably" get a high by finding negative aspects in other's success stories and testimonials to achieve personal piece of mind. Got hair?

Thanks, you have accomplished what I have expected from posting pics and testimonials, which is someone who actually tells me something encouraging. It proves that my treatments have been successful, and that if there are people who follow my regimen, they will not be disappointed.

Just remember guys, start your treatments while in the earliest stages, while you still have a chance to save a good portion of your head of hair. I get criticized often by people such as this "Bob Booley" character, only because I detected my hair loss situation at its prime, and took action immediately to prevent further worsening of the situation. Now I still haven't won the battle, but have definitely slowed down the opposition.

Booley, I have done nothing to disrespect you; therefore I expect the same treatment in return. If you don't like the fact that I post pictures or testimonials of my fight against hair loss, you can simply ignore my posts and threads, and go on with your own business in here. I can guarantee you one thing, if it was you posting pics in here, I wouldn't care if you had 2 fingers of forehead and the appearance of a full thick head of hair, I would not approach you the way that you have approached me, because I respect the judgment of every individual to think of himself as he sees it through his own eyes.
