hey guys.
i have been using propecia for the last five months. and since last month, i noticed pain in my right nipple area. i ignored it since i thought it would temporary and it did go away in a week. however, now my right and left nipples seem puffy and almost look like erect 24/7. I am sure that they look different from before cuz i have been noticing it for a while now.....its been like 25 days since they have been puffy.. and i think it might be gyno........furthermore, i have reduced my intake to 0.25mg and have started takin it every other day. i dont know wots the deal, but can this be stopped if i reduced my intake or should i stop this sh*t right away. Cuz expect this, i have noticed no other sides so far. I'd appreciate every feedbak i can get.....thx u

this guy had the same symptoms as you . . . looks like propecia actually grew the hair around his nipples!!!! Way to go!!!

The chances are if you reduce your intake-- to like .25 a day or every other day, then the symptoms of gyno will taper off... If they don't, then you should definitely see your doctor... There are some things you can do- you can use tamoxifen, which allows you to reap the benefits of finasteride without growing a set, armidex, and DIM.

Some people suggest not taking other drugs to counter the side effects of another. Well, you can do what you want, but these are all safe medications for intake.

Talk to your doctor. I would stay at the reduced dosage.

Hey man, if it gets any worse, look into getting some nolvadex, I wish I would have known about it during puberty, I have a bit of pubertal gyno on my left side. I have taken Nolva since, and it has definitely shrunk it from what it once was.

Intellecturall,

How much Nolvadex do you take per day?

And do you use a generic brand??

thanks

Gyno is the easiest thing to prevent. There's no reason to worry about it. Tamoxifen works good for gyno symtoms. If you've had the symtoms awhile, letrozole will take care of it.
