Hair falling out after hair clipper mishap ?

Hey just wondering if this sounds possible........ last year i was shaving my head with hair clippers and they pulled out a patch of hairs in one spot...... the hairs lost have never grown back but surrounding hair of the hair that was pulled have slowly been miniaturizing and i have formed a a circular looking bald patch now where the incident happened... what would cause this ?

Friend of mine had a clump of hair pulled out in a fight 15 years ago. It never grew back. He's always had long hair so it is not very noticeable.

yeah the hair pulled out at the time is gone but surrounding hair a year later is starting to miniaturize and fall out now aswell...

You could coincidentally have male pattern baldness that is starting to kick in. Maybe you traumatized the surrounding tissue and the hair fell out gradually. Maybe go see the doctor and see what's going on.
