Hi,
Tried doing some search on that but I get 64 pages and nothing exactly what I am looking for...

Ok about hair genes...

I have a question from a friend of mine.

Lets say his Mom side have black hair and his Dads side have blond hair.
Lets say Mom's side people are losing hair and Dads side no one is losing any hair...
Ok My friend is 21 and he has the same color as his dad (blond) and he even has a red beard...just like his dad has...that means he took his dads hair genes correct?
Is hair loss genes same as hair type/color genes?
or totally different..??
Sorry if my question is not exactly clear.....

no blondes on my moms side, blondes/browns on my dads.

no one losing their hair on my dads side, 1x uncle and grandfathe losing hair on my moms side.

....annnnnd I am blonde/brown.

based on your question the theory would be debunked.

but theres probably alot more to it than that

Your hair situation can come from either parent, one , both or none at all.

Hair is unpredictable. I guess the best part is that u cant predict just by looking at your hair in the god damned mirror.

maybe 20 yrs later in the fututre, scinece and tenchnology will have advasanced to a level that they could predict male pattern baldness just by taking a scalp biopsis.

word to your mother for actually using the search function before posting.

each gene in itself is to a certain extent individual. if your mothers side has blonde hair and hairloss, this does not mean that if you have blonde hair you will get hairloss. as far as we know the 'hairloss genes' whatever it may be, is not connected to anything else.
