I hope I put this in the right section...
anyway, i have a female friend who has thinning hair, and of course i don't say anything about it. And the only reason I noticed was that I myself have male pattern baldness (see the male story section), and now i'm faced with a dilemma!
Her hair is just very thin, its not patchy and all that, and I've heard her complain a few times about it. But the thing is, was she saying this as a mere pasing comment, or just letting out a bit of her inner thoughts? Because I know I tried talking to friends about my problem.. just a bit .. comments like "my hair is getting a bit thin.." or "its not like it use to be". Maybe she's wants to talk about it, or maybe she doesn't even think about it much at all!
And thats the crux of it.. if i mention it, i could help her out, but if she doesn't even think about it, I may just make her extremely self concious and lose a friend. So what do you think.. confront or leave ?
