But GOD still loves you. Ofcourse its difficult. But what else can we do? I guess god likes to test us with such difficulities and you need to show that you're brave enough to fight the society and do something for which ppl will always remember you. Don't die in vain, Die in distinction. Die in peace and people should cry after your death. Thats what Jesus did. Can't we? I mean he had a full head of hair but the difficulties he had to face is nowhere near what we're facing. It's all upto you. You either be brave or give up. Sorry for my poor grammar. I'm trying to help people who are depressed coz of this ****.

And why do bald guys hate humanity? Because random everyday people treat us like ****. I wasnt always this depressed and bitter.... I got this way from many years of abuse at the hands random strangers and continue to till this day. Everyday someone finds a way to insult me or make me feel less human. That is why I say how society deals with us is the problem. We didnt do anything yet we are treated like criminals and trash.

Why do you think U.man you attract much more disdain than an average bald man? location, wearing facial hair(including thickness/style), giving off an aura of self loathing, height, and (my youre own admission being skinny, thus perceived as weak....or a a number of other factors....

Are you trying to say that most bald men dont get teased and mocked on a daily basis? I cant be the only bald guy this happens to. You yourself said that most days you are affronted with insults about your baldness. To what do you attribute that to? The easy answer is we are bald and society hates us for it. But admittedly I am much more sensitive and observant of these thing than your average person, or even bald guy.... so for me its amplified. There is no unasid aurau I am emiting that is attracting all of this hate... it is simply my exposed bald head. I could work out get a tan and dress like a GQ model and people will still look down on me. Its the baldness and others intolerance of it, not much else to it im afraid.

I don't believe most bald men get the amount and ferocity that you and I get(especially at our age). Thus there is something other than baldness about us that attract so much contempt. In my case, I get ridiculed and insulted from everything, from my ears, soft red cheeks, the way I walk, the way I stand, the goatee(the fact I have one, the colour, the thickness etc), my build, my red head, fair skin, freckles, miserable face etc etc etc. Yes, the majority of the time, our hairless heads will be the catalyst in people projecting their hate, but as the aforementioned above for me, there must other traits you have that antagonise people?

Perhaps it just boils down to the fact that our faces don't belong. Some peoples just don't(even those with hair), although our out of place facial appearance is more magnified due to being bald. Or maybe the people saying nasty things to us, say nasty things to others, even those with hair. Lets be real, we aint a great species now are we!

Its always under the proviso that if everything else were perfect then baldness wouldnt have as much of an impact. Maybe my skinnyness contributes to the jeers I get but baldness is unlike having a crooked nose or being fat or even short...baldness is its own creature on an another level entirely with its own unique brand of associations. But one thing is for certain, baldness brings out the worst in people.

And you have also admitted to being overly sensitive as well Fred, which just makes the experience all the more agonizing. If I was too oblivious to notice how others respond and treat me then I wouldnt nearly be suffering as much as i am.

For as much as you say its all the baldness I wonder. There is a guy in my gym who is friggin bald Khal Drogo, minus he good looks, and I could not see ANY ONE saying anything to him.
I will say I never caught more than the teasing from friends, even when I had my head fully shaved (with a VERY visible bad hairline and bald crown).

I will say YES definitely women noticed and steer clear, minus the drudges. In the end, even though not tall, Im built and have a very big mouth and bi polar attitude with things so no one ever (even bigger guys) would say anything remotely negative to me, not without a smile at least.

Anyway, I do think it comes to how you carry yourself and how much a victim you present yourself to be.... IN SOME scenarios. Much of the time when a group of guys is going to say something they will expect a come back. Luckily I also have a honed wit so I can usually put someone in a place without retorting to "your mom likes it".

I will say me AND my buddy went through many phases in life, He went through a hair coloring phase, we both went through a flashy shirt phase.... god what homos we were, and I was always a bit "different" of a dresser. Girls used to tell me I always had my own style. Most guys would laugh cause I wore butt *** tight jeans back when baggy was in. I would say things like "well i got a sweet ***" or "dont hate" and honestly half the time it just turns out theyre doing guy rousing and then you shoot back. Again I was a REALLY good looking guy with nice hair then so I had THAT confidence backing me up that their girlfriends WERE probably checking out my sweet *** lol.

Yes bald is the easy target, but try not to make it easi"er" or even the easiest.

As someone who has been a full NW5 from age 22 to age 24, I can back up what uncomfortable man is saying.

Outsiders have absolutely no idea of what it's like. In short, you're just seen as less than, and treated as such.

You seem less charismatic, less pleasing to the eye, less joyful, probably because of the dimorphism brought by baldness.

Women think, no, they know you have less value, and they will not hesitate to get in the breach and exploit that weakness.

Then you get a group of men shouting "HE HAS NO HAIR" while a whole bar stare at you.

You have women ditching you because "you're pathetic and desperate (for getting a hair transplant, so ultimately for caring about being bald)" or feeling "we're too different" for no reason.

You even have your grandparents looking down on you for having no hair, or your own mother giving you the look "what a disgrace to have this weird-looking bald son".

All this contempt may not be said out loud, but you can see it on people's faces. They're uncomfortable being around your baldness, as it must remind them that life sucks.
Jesus ****ing christ dude. That's exactly what I was expecting and you confirmed my fears. Then that **** with people at the bar yelling at you, that's not right dude. Holy **** man, what were you official full bald at?

It is a cross bear having an awareness of ones surroundings. Mine has been heightened over the years. People think they are being subtle when they s****** at me, but I notice virtually everytime. I wish I could go back to when I didn't understand the human psyche. Was a lot easier to function...oblivious like the rest of the cattle.

I've been on minoxidil for over 6 months without any results. My dad went bald at 24 and my doctor told me that i'll be too. What can i do? THERE'S NO CURE FOR BALDNESS. UNDERSTOOD? I'd probably end up buying a wig, lol.
I SHOULD HAVE A HEAD FULL OF HAIR FFS, I AM ONLY 18 HOW CAN I BE NORWOOD 3V FFS!!!

minoxidil should only be used to maintain the hair that you have left, don't expect any miracles.
In the long term you can expect to lose more hair.
Get a wig or just shave it and move on.
As far as society goes, dye your hair or wig blonde, get blue contacts, and learn to smile and be a yes man.
Aint nothing wrong with being a sellout. Go corporate. Get married, have kids, buy a house, a car, and get life insurance.
Life is too short.
