Ha makes two, SW Balham way. Got me concerned now I'm in the dark ages. What term do you hear mostly now?

Haha, I reckon it's still fairly common but haven't heard anyone around me use it for a while. Mainly regional London slang like "butters" "frass" "clapped" etc.

I'm not sure what a minger is. If that means ugly, then I would say yes, and no. Because it depends on your face shape and other features and how you work with what you got. My grandfather was a very attractive guy and he had a major receding hairline. But he styled his hair appropriately. You can have a thick full head of hair and still not be good looking. Its true.

Patrick Stewart is a pretty good looking guy. Hell, he looks better without hair in my opinion.

Don't forget The Rock . I have heard that some women actually prefer bald men. Maybe they have daddy issues, if their father was bald. But some women do like bald guys and its not really ugly. Its just not the ideal for most.
