I've been on finasteride 0.5 everyday for the past 1.5 month. I'm norwood 3 with diffuse thinning. 26 now and been slowly balding since 16.. It's bad enough that when bright light touches my scalp it's see through, and obviously thin when it's wet. The hair on my scalp is in a sorry state it's like theirs hair all over my scalp but all of it is extremely thin (and low pigment). Would anyone recommend throwing minoxidil into the mix already? Or wait it out and see what finasteride does around the 6 month mark?

Wait it out. If you combine them you won’t be able to distinguish between them with regards to which is doing what.
