I only use it a couple times a week.

Why only a couple of times a week?
I'm planing it to use everyday.
Do you mix it with water - a couple of drops of Hair Signals + some water then apply it on your scalp?

the cream...I only use the cream/lotion a couple of times per week since its so strong.

Also...I just bought the solution last night so I have never used the liquid.

I'm using liquid and I don't think it's that strong. I'm using it every day, around 3-4 drops + around .5ml of water.
It does stain the skin green but it's gone after 30 min.

solution is good stuff...I had no idea the bottle would be that big. This will last me a long time. Definitely recommended for anyone looking to have long term success....pretty damn cheap too.

Cassin: Yes the bottle is quite big. But how many drops do you use per application? Do you mix it with water?

I use the little spray bottle that came with it..I'm guessing I'll use 4 to 8 sprays at a time once or twice a week.

This stuff is powerful...you don't need to over use it for my intentions wich are simply to help keep my scalp healthy.

I had a couple people pm me asking me exactly what I got and here it is....

The two items to the left are the solution. The small bottle is the spray and the larger bottle is the refill.

The item to the right is the cream. That order cost me $60 if I remember right.

$60 for all? I think I payed 35 for only the Hair Signals Therapy Solution 4oz bottle (the middle) + shipping which was all together around $43.
I've been using it for a couple of weeks... I didn't notice any difference in my hair quality but then again, it's too early to judge.

The hair signals version contains beta-sitosterol. I wouldn't want an aromatase inhibtor anywhere near my hair follicles.

why?

Aromatase is the enzyme that converts testosterone to estrogen. Estrogen protects hair follicles from androgens and is thought to have hair growth promoting effects seperate from its androgen protecting properties.

This thread http://www.hairlosshelp.com/FORUMS/mess ... ord1=CYP19 talks about the importance of aromatase in determining hair loss patterns.

I asked Dr Pickart why this was in his product...here was his response.

High levels of DHT are also associated with enlargement of the prostate gland (benign prostate hyperplasia, BPH), so its not surprising that natural treatments for BPH are also showing promise for treating male pattern baldness. In a controlled study, 19 men aged 23 to 64 with mild to moderate hair loss took either a placebo or a supplement containing 400 mg of a standardised extract of the herb saw palmetto (Serenoa repens) and 100 mg of the plant sterol beta-sitosterol. Both have been shown to effectively reduce levels of DHT.

After five months, hair growth had significantly improved in an impressive 60 per cent of men taking the supplement, but only in 11 per cent of those given the placebo (J Alt Complement Med 2002; 8: 143-152). Whats more, both saw palmetto and beta-sitosterol are very safe and virtually free from side-effects (the only one being occasional mild stomach upset).

Although the findings of this small study can not be taken as conclusive, they are sufficiently encouraging to suggest that saw palmetto and beta-sitosterol should be the first option for men with mild to moderate hair loss who do not want to risk the problems associated with conventional drugs. Take 200 mg of saw palmetto extract and 100 mg of beta-sitosterol, twice a day.

I'm aware of Beta-sitosterol's DHT inhibiting qualites. It is useful as an internal but I personally wouldn't want the stuff on or around my hair follicles due to it's aromatase inhibiting properties. You want as much of the aromatase enzyme in your scalp and follicles as possible.

I just ordered some of the cream - been wanting some copter peptides and topical anti-dht action in my regimen for awhile and this fits the bill perfectly. Only got the cream since i'm a receder and want to defend my hairline - rest of my scalp is dense as all heck.

What can you guys say about it thus far... if anything?
