The so called second generation; dropping soy protein in to cupric chloride produces various copper peptides randomly "the green slop." Any old amino sequence will not produce proven blue peptides. Folligen may possibly have an advanatge because of the quanity, but not qaulity as you get lots of junk peptides in the mix.

The studies I've posted numerous times in the past clearly seem to demonstrate that some specific copper-peptides are more effective than others when it comes to stimulating hair growth. The exact sequence of peptides in the chemical structure is apparently the important factor that determines how effective it is for that purpose. However, Dr. Pickart _may_ be making a slightly different claim which might have some validity to it: the mass-produced (random) copper-peptides in Folligen may be more cost-effective than Tricomin, for the simple reason that the random peptides are a whole lot cheaper to manufacture than a specific peptide sequence like the one in Tricomin. In other words, it may be possible to make up with quantity what you lack in qualiity.
