hair status after finishing treatment with dutasteride

Hello.


iam a dutasterid user 3 times a week. I want to take dutasterid longer time. Anyway I have a question: How will be the hair status after take off dutasteride? Will I have the same hair status like not taking dutasteride in my life or will the hairs fall out slowly?

For me it's more logical, if they fall out slowly by the reason of lower dht in the blood?

Most likely, you eventually will lose all hair due to dutasteride, like you were never on it. You will be worse off than when you started. dutasteride stays in the system for a fairly long time, so it will take some time to see the cosmetic change. Instead of going off of it, I would try switching to using it topically.

you may get a shed as well, i would personally stick with it.

thanks for the answers, but I think the hairs should fall out slower, because its more logical for me. DHT is blocked for a time so DHT can't damage the hairs. Why should the fall out at once?
