I've been wearing a lace system with poly sides for a little over two months. Lately, I'm having a real issue with the bonding.
After I install and get a good bond, it doesn't really feel like I'm wearing anything on my head. I can even forget I'm wearing it sometimes. As the week goes on, I will feel parts of the middle start to loosen and eventually it feels like I'm wearing a hat on my head. Around a day or two after this, it starts lifting on all sides and I know it's time to change it. I've tried multiple clear and white bonds, I use scalp protector and can't seem to get more than 5-6 days before I really need to take it off.
However, lately the time it takes to start feeling "hatlike" is getting shorter and shorter. I just reinstalled today (4 layers of ghost bound) and it's already starting to feel like that. The sides aren't lifting, but it feels "hatlike" on the pretty much the rest of the unit. My question is, is this a bonding issue or something with the unit itself? I get lifts in the front like everybody else, but I usually don't hear about the middle part "lifting" while the sides are secure.
Hope that made sense and someone knows what I mean by the "hat" feeling.
