Avodart has only halted my hair loss and not thickened the hairline. Worried that eventually the drug will stop fighting the good fight for me the longer I use it.

You are thinning at Nw1.As you know anything past there is over.
Try oral spironolactone asap

I think that guy is trolling. If anything, the next things I would try in your situation are oral minoxidil and/or RU.

However it should also be stated that your hair is currently very good and I wouldn't even add more treatments just yet.

Thanks for the input Woody, the pessimist in me can just see the effectiveness of Avodart wearing off and the thinning evolves into full blown recession. Hopefully when I’m 80

So the solution to this is jump on oral minoxidil?? Dutasteride has halted my hair loss and combined with this new treatment logic states that it should thicken it out since it is a regrowth stimulant and not just a blocker. Anyway cheers for the advice lads

Only a transplant in your case will fix the recession and thicken up the hairline. Those photos look so different from the photos from the other days.

It’s cause I’ve not shampooed and hair dried it, but anyway, oral minoxidil is useless then, why? Why is the hairline so hard to grow back mate

It's not useless but it just very hard to bring back the hairline in cases like yours on just minoxidil and finasteride.

I read up on orall minoxidil on my break and I’m more scared to take it than when I was starting dutasteride, there is great evidence for hairline regrowth from people who’ve been on 10mg of the stuff. But it can’t be good for your blood vessels and heart in general

You can still do the topical

I did the topical for 3 months as well as micro needling and no effect and so can’t be bothered spraying this sh*t over my head two times a day. Tablets seem way more appealing - but not this tablet.
