It is a truth, Stephen Foote, a good camarada in this site,
He had, apart from some transplant, reduction of the scalp. That is to say, through surgery the hair on the sides was placed on the top of his head and he lost his hair again. This gentleman, who I hope is well, has been a student of the subject, I recommend reading it.
BTW

Robert English, has a very good hair, different that his coleages

So hairloss is purely due to poor bloodflow. Got it

NO...but that was my initial guess too. If you listen to the whole video it describes what is happening. The hair follicles over time mimic those around them.

In fact that explains the shortcomings(as he mentioned) of Orentreich's famous transplanting hairs(still growing but from the balding area) to their forearms. The balding transplants did not survive. Most people's arms arent' that hairy and the balding follicles just "took clues" from the surrounding area. In fact I WOULD BET transplanting even back of the head non-balding cells say onto the top of the hand would be doomed to fail over time.

This also explains why balding hair follicles transplanted onto SCID mice acted like normal non-balding hairs because the SCID mouse was a healthy place for them to thrive. The SCID part is just a smokescreen(IMO) and really had little to do with that and just transplanting them to the healthier mouse caused them to flourish.

Jahoda showed inter-species hair transplantation was possible and didn't need immunosuppression for them to grow.

The video really gets better towards the end and it is well worth watching. It even explains about plucking and how it boosts hair growth even to other nearby areas.

Thank you for the photos they are impressive. The massages that work(from what I've gathered) are very brutal and probably are just another form of wounding. Some people pinch their scalp and all sorts of near painful things.

I HIGHLY DOUBT that was just a lite massaging that took place in the photos.

The answer is transplants do work.. but they will degrade over time.. Some grafts will break down .. So it’s not a cure…. but considering the alternatives.. It’s a personal choice.. The good news is the transplanted hair dormant or growing can improve with todays options..
These guys on YouTube touting themselves as “experts” should be viewed w) skepticism… Most are out to make YouTube coin first & foremost.. They never have had the conditions they swear they’ve had & are just preying on desperate males..

That guy who posted the video(Rob English) is a PHD and has published papers so he IMO is worthwhile to listen to.

The perfecthairhealth.com website is probably in the top 5 websites on hair loss.

Yes ..I’ve seen him…He posts video after video purporting hair massage is the answer…
I think one thing is clear.. the follicles/stem cells need stimulus …
Massage &/or pushing the galea up & down.. certainly doesn’t hurt.. compared to doing nothing at all.. But are these fly by night opportunists or legitimate scientists..
I do massage each day .. just as part of a regimen.. I believe he does 3 times a week & I don’t think after doing it I would make YouTube videos touting massage..
As I have stated the follicles/stem cells need stimulation. The hairs need to be in Anagen phase of growth..
I am exploring the ways to do it…
