Re: hair starting to thin/miniturize ?

The pics are very dark, best way to see whether you are thinning or not is to take pictures with Flash. It looks a bit too thin to me but I can´t give you a definite answer based on these pictures!

Based upon your photos there is no evidence of male pattern baldness. You are betting off going to a doctor and have your hair scalp looked at for miniaturisation. Get a professional look for first. If you are classified as male pattern baldness then look at the options available to you.

I second that. It seems to be the nature parting of your hair. Judging from the pics alone, I don't think you have male pattern baldness.

you can always pay a visit to a derm to determine if its male pattern baldness. We are just saying that from the pics, it doesnt look like it.

I don't want to give out false information here...but if you're getting that tingling sensation when you didn't get it before, then I feel that it could be the beginnings of hair loss, even if it isn't super visible for the moment.

Just monitor it over the next month or two, and if it gets worse than I would get a prescription for Propecia.

There is no evidence there of m.p.b this just looks like a guy with a scalp condition, forget propecia there's probably a good medicated shampoo that will clear this up. He is'nt going bald.

Re: hair starting to thin/miniturize ?

if ther's one thing i've learnt that at the beginning stages of any kind of hair loss, photos can rarely show anything. in some photos my hair looks so thick and in others it could look i was a Norwood 4 or something it's weird. it's heavily dependant on lighting, camear angle etc. altho your photos are quite good, you can't go on what anyone says here.
ive just started to thin diffusely (i think) and i'm going to book an appointment with a phsycian who actually knows about ahirloss, most aren't trained specifically in this department and rely on textbooks that you or i could read. i.e. a dermatologist. just book yourself an appointment and get it out of the way. i'm going to and preparing myself for the worst news. good luck.

Re: hair starting to thin/miniturize ?

I remember the tingles and the sore scalp 5 yrs. ago now i have diffuse thinning all over the crown. Sounds like the beginning stages to me. It's not apparent yet, but like the others say i would go to a derm to get analyzed. Good luck
