hey thomas- good question. I noticed that the ends where the knots were tied have become sesitive and larger in the last two days. What about you? im curious.
In my last procedure it has widened, but I have had 3 hair transplants, the first scar was small, the second one was larger, and the 3rd one seems to be huge.. However, I am having scar revision, not this summer but next summer, after I have my 4th transplant. My Dr. offeres free scar revision. It's funny because when the stitches are in, it seems like the scar is tiny, but when they absorb, my scar tends to stretch.
you may want to let your physician know this. I wonder if there maybe anonther option for you. Maybe not get desolvable sutures, and leave them in for a week longer.
One question - how is it that you can have an open cut in the back of your head that has been sutured shut... but have no pain? Do they have you on a topical anesthetic or something?
most times you have some mild discomfort. My 1st and second hair transplant, I had minor pain in the back for the first few days. Which you would take vikaden to counter act that.
This procedure I really didn't have any. The first few nights of sleeping was uncomfortable, but that was the extent.
As for actual pain, I had none, and nothing was added or given to me, other than Tylenol 500mg, which I didn't take.
I am lucky on the pain free part, it is uncommon to not have pain the first couple of days.
Looking good... it appears that you got your moneys worth with your transplant. I see a big difference from the baseline photo and where you are at now.
