Hairs going lighter after using S5 Cream for 6 weeks. Good sign? Bad sign? Neither?

I've been using S5 cream for approx 6 weeks, and I've noticed my hair is going lighter around the areas I apply it. It is especially noticeable after I have washed my hair, because the hair where I apply the S5 cream is significantly lighter than the rest of my hair. It's more noticeable because your hair goes darker when it's wet / towel dry, but these hairs are quite light.

Is this a good sign that it's working or is it just a side effect of the cream and not an indication of anything?

Just a little bump since my hair strands are still getting lighter to the point of being white. I'm not sure this is working.

I've been using S5 cream for the past month or so. My hair might have gotten a little lighter but not notably.

Over two years on S5 cream and no change in colouration here. Are these lightened hair shafts the same diameter as before S5 usage or are they thinning?
