I am not brave enough to go with a cleanly shaven head (I.E. Mr. Clean look), nor do I think I could pull it off successfully. I am going to bite the bullet and look seriously at starting hair treatment options, being either minoxidil, finasteride, rogaine, etc.
The thing is, the sides of my hair and back grow really quick and are thick, while the top thin hairs grow ever so slightly. If I let it go too long, it starts the George Costanza horseshoe head look. With the rate that my hair grows on the sides, I will probably need to start getting it cut every 2 weeks until I can get some regrowth back.
I was wondering what you guys who have the horseshoe hair forming, but are not ready to go fully bald shaven do for haircuts? In other words, how do you have it styled in order to conceal or hide your hair loss? Pictures along with a description would be really helpful.
BTW, here is what my hair looks like. As you can see the thicker hair on the sides and on the front patch of my head. Give me some suggestions, because this look isn't going to cut it with me anymore or the ladies.
