I mean really mess up -
using 30-40-50 precent formulas instead of the regular 5-15

Has anybody tried to mess up with minoxidil doses ??

Low blood presure is a good thing,
besides - im a well experienced drug user i take precautions...
and besides even that - i remember reading somewhere that minoxi od is very far out of reach so technically its impossible.
if you would have known what you r doing than u r home free thats the bottom line,
and i think there is a lot of area in this subject that hasnt been explored yet,
you would never know whT u miss, maybe a full head of hair is just a high minoxidil doses...

Slightly low blood pressure is fine but if you lower your blood pressure drastically with meds (including very high percentage minoxidil) it can kill you, believe me. 1st you would start feeling dizzy, then you would pass put and eventually it can cause heart failure.
15% - 20% topical minoxidil may give you slightly better results than 5% but the higher percentage the more chance you have developing side effects, however some people can handle 15% while I know some members of this forum who developed side effects and they had to go back to 5%.
It doesn't mean if you soak your head in, let's say, 50% minoxidil you will grow full head of hair. Most likely you would end up in hospital.

It's not even possible to dissolve that much minoxidil into a solution. An acid is required to even get it as high as 15% and that's pushing it. Dr Lee's 15% often had undissolved crystals in it. There are no 30, 40, or 50% solutions and there never will be.

Yeah, maybe a cream where almost none of the minoxidil will absorb correctly to be of any use---most of it will still be undissolved and unable to penetrate the scalp. You need the correct vehicle for topical minoxidil to be effective.
If someone insists that they need to try high strenght minoxidil the best way (only way) to do it is to just use more of the standard 5%.

5% minoxidil will be 5% minoxidil no matter how much you apply. If you soak your entire head with 5% minoxidil you will risk getting side effects.
When it comes to 30% minoxidil cream I remember reading some people got better results than 15% so it did get absorb. I'll try to find those old posts.
