has anyone switched from Dutasteride to finasteride

Hi Everyone,

I have been on Dutasteride for about 6 years and I feel over the last year it has really started to lose its effectiveness. So I was thinking of trying Finasteride has anyone switched from Dutasteride to finasteride and if so how where your results?

It lost its effectiveness, so you are going to switch a weaker drug? That doesn't make sense.

Well that’s not exactly true, they work in different ways and as with any drug your body can build up a tolerance to it. There are no long term studies on the effects of dust on people my age which is one of the reasons I am switching back to finasteride.
