Has my hair loss slowed down?

Hi. I had used finasteride before I got sides from it so I decided to switch to topicals. I've been using Nizoral 2% Cream in the morning 3 times a week, 15% Minoxidil + 5% AA solution along with the S5 cream every evening. I can hardly notice any hair fall. My hair is about 3 cm long and the only hair that I sometimes notice whilst showering are some tiny 0.5 cm hairs. What could that mean? Also, whenever I comb my hair really hard I can only see one or, at most, two hairs on the comb. Has it stopped or just drastically slowed down? Thanks !! P.S. I am NW2

no one can answer this.

nothing in your regimen to actually slow down hairloss.
I suggest adding RU if you don't want finasteride.

minoxidil does slow down hair loss and contributes to maintenance - but not as effective as finasteride. So this is what is helping obviously. I doubt the Nizoral or S5 does much - unproven value as a topical DHT inhibitor.

Where are you applying minoxidil? All on top of the scalp or areas of thinning?

Im applying it to the frontal area as my crown is really thick. I'd be happy to maintain what I have now, I don't need that extra regrowth as long as I don't go completely bald ! :)I was considering Super Zix II, what do you think??
