Has my hair started thinning rapidly, should I be worried?

Hi, I'm a 19 year old guy who's already accepted the fate of becoming a bald later in adulthood due to my shoddy genetic inheritance (father bald and most of his brothers too, maternal grandfather bald and mother's brother too). I don't want to become bald while I'm at university though so I'm hoping to hold it off for the next few years at least. Looking at my father's old pics, he probably started balding in his early 30s but I think I've picked up the trait much earlier.

Here are some pictures of my hair now, and a few pictures of me from last year for comparison (at tennis), just wanting comments really or whether I should start worrying now and hopping on regimens soon. Is my hair now more thin than thick? I've also noticed that even though I've not had a haircut at all recently, a month ago I could stick up my hair and sort of of spike it up/keep it upright, however now when I do the same it just falls back down. Any ideas?

Ur hair got longer so it won't stay up... dude maybe balding Is in ur genetics but do yourself a favor and wait... your hair seems the same as before to me. If I noticed even the slightest difference I would have brought it to your attention. But you don't gotta worry for now... maybe post pics of ur hairline if u need more approval

Thanks for the response. I'm pretty sure balding is in my genetics, but for my self-esteem I'd rather I encounter the effects around the same time as my father did (in his late 20s) than go through it while I'm still very young and in university. I thought I linked a picture of my hairline, but here's another one anyway (not for approval, just want feedback really!)

You need to post better pic of your WHOLE hairline

You need to post better pic of your WHOLE hairline also your hair looks fine to me, trust me I can tell if a person is receding even when they cover it up and you are not.

You are NOT balding trust me I can spot if a person is receding from a distance (even with bangs).

No way, you are NOT balding. In fact, you have more hair than most people I know.

I suggest that you start off with ketoconazole shampoo (Lipogaine Big 3 or Regenepure DR), which helps to remove DHT topically from your scalp. Also, try using 5000 to 10,000 mcg's of Biotin vitamins, one per day. This is a good regimen to help you "keep what you have". (BTW, my motivation for using Biotin was Michael Peak. Check out his video on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKLfUmOdvcM)

I think the above plan will really help stop hair loss, but if you still notice hair loss then I recommend that you start using minoxidil. I have never used Finasteride or Dutasteride, so I have no comment about those drugs.

Good luck.

Dude you have ultra thick hair. If you're so sure you're going to be bald, get on finasteride and you'll keep a great head of hair forever.
