K, Well i havent posted in here for about 4months now? Anyways i been on propecia for a total of 6months now. I have noticed really no difference in my hair, I seem to be lossing less hair but i havent seen any real growth.

I been skipping on taking my propecia for 4weeks now? Havent had the money to go and get another dose how bad will this affect me? What else should i add in to try to see results im a huge diffuse thinner i can post pictures again.

And i have to keep going to my Dermatologist for refill on propecia anyother way of geting it? Thanks a ton guys.

You really need to comit yourself into takeing Propecia everyday. If money is a problem buy Proscar off the internet, I get mine form here http://www.inhousedrugstore.co.uk/index.html and cut it into four.

You mention you seem to be loosing less hair, that to me sounds as though its having a positive effect. If your not already useing Nizoral I would add it every third day then wait another 6 months to access results, if you are then unhappy add minoxidil for growth.

If you have any pics before you started treatment and any now six months after post them up, so we can access your situation better.

Hey Distressed, I am still debating where I will get my next batch of finasteride, right now I am on Merck brand Propecia....

Are you using Proscar (thru Inhousepharmacy) or Fincar thru Inhouse from Cipla?

The Fincar and Finpecia for that matter is so dirt cheap.

How long have you been using it and does it appear to work?

I'm taking Fincar from http://www.inhousepharmacy.co.uk and I can vouch that it does work. I've just started my second batch of 30 which I received this week. I've been on it for five months. It's dirt cheap as you say, and arrives (in the UK) in less than a week!

I cannot believe how cheap it is....I am in the US (East Coast) and definitely will order there then....I assume the fincar is from Cipla?

That's right, the Fincar from inhouse is manafactured by Cipla in India.

I order the Merck brand of Proscar, I have been on it for around 6 years now although for the first 2-3 years I was ordering it elsewhere. As far as results, my hair is in better shape than it was before I started and has continued to stay that way.

Looks like things could be better still than Tynanw's graph would suggest!

Just wondering: When was your hair at its best? Was it around the 2 year mark?

That really is inspiring to hear after 6 years, congrats man!!! I'm around 4 months and haven't noticed big results yet, but I am wearing my hair up again. Not sure if it's actually b/c things have gotten better or b/c my self confidance is higher, but either way I'm hoping to hit a growth spurt, so to speak, lol.

I can’t put a time to when my hair was best, at a guess I would agree and say within the first 2 years. In saying that it has never really dropped below what I call best, when it does it is caused by shedding periods, its synchronised as far as I can tell. The density of my hair changes very little so I don’t really worry about it as it always comes back.

To let you know I do every now and again try an addition to my regime as I am doing now with NANO to see if I can improve things a little more because if I was honest I would like a little more density but in saying that I am happy with my results so I am not to concerned.
