Having Sides On finasteride . Game Over Yet?

20 yo male here . Currently Norwood 2.5
Used finasteride 0.25 for 2 weeks and lost morning woods.
One night I was too lazy to cut the pill and said f*** it. Upped my dose to 0.5 and everything went back to normal for 2 weeks.
Then I bought proscar which is 5 mg tablets.
Cut them into 8 and used it for 2 weeks .
And very bad sides started to happen.
Penis was like a play dough (haha)
I could only get hard for 10 seconds or so
No libido or very very low. I remember I declined a booty call because it was too far . Before finasteride I could jump cities for booty calls.

I quit finasteride one month ago and thanks to God and my super recovering penis. Everything went back to normal.
But yet I still lose hair
I got sides from finasteride . So game over ?

Stop alternating between doses. I think that (broscience) the hormonal system doesn't adapt correctly when you switch the amount of finasteride that you use over and over again.
If I were you I'd start with an ultra low dose, and stick with it. Otherwise you might see good results with minoxidil and dermarolling, but the results won't last for long without an anti-androgen

I used it for 1.5 months. Do you think my body will adapt to new hormone levels
By the way I even had hard time cutting 1 mg pill. How can I cut 5 mg pill even further?

I got the exact same sides that you mention, started to panic, but I work sticked to it and stopped fapping/having sex for a while. Then it all goes away after 2 months in. No sides at all whatsoever now
