Head shavers, what do you use to do it? (shave, not buzz)

Will I be alright using disposable bic razors on the ol noggin or would you recommend I use my mach 3 which I already spend a billion dollars a month on for new blades for my face?

Also do you lather your whole head up with shaving cream first?

I would not use a cheap razor since they tend to make more cuts. Use a good razor from gilette + shaving gel (not foam)

I am not shaving myself at the moment, as I am trying to track my new hairgrowth

Ugh so it's going to cost me a fortune to maintain. My Mach 3 blades go dull super quick on me and they are ridiculously overpriced. Does Gilette make better razors now with more durable blades?
