HELP..HAS THIS HAPPENED TO ANYONE??WHAT TO DO?

I was using minoxidil 5%/rogaine for 1.5 years hair loss was under control then i decided to stop it,began to lose my hair again so i restarted it,now 10 months later and my hair is still falling out faster then ever,has this happened to anyone who stopped minoxidil/rogaine and then restarted or the second time but hair didnt stop falling out?did it ever stop falling?what did u do to make it stop falling?someone pls help

yes i have been on dutasteride for the same amount of time.

From what ive been told minoxidil is some strong sh*t, so its not good to go on and off it. In your situation (which is similar to mine) is to restart the minoxidil again if you are sure you will be consistent and your rate of hair loss should slow down.
How is dutasteride going for you??

I think what you're going through is the minoxidil shed. People correct me if I'm wrong, but when you quit minoxidil, it's like a shock to your hair which induces the minoxidil-addicted areas to go into resting for awhile. Your hair should grow back in the areas which did not experience regrowth solely because of minoxidil, but it will take time (months). If you don't think you'll be able to keep at the minoxidil, I'd advice very slowly quitting it, reducing the amount you use every day and then quitting (not cold turkey in other words).

I quit minoxidil for a year or so. lost all the hair. jumped back on it last year.
slowly i am gaining the hairs I lost. For more info, you can read my story in tell your story section. Xandrox helped in reducing the hair loss for me.

the problem with the shed theory is i dont think thats possible its been 10 MONTHS since i restarted it,sheds dont come at month 10,hairloss has been the same the whole 10 months .someone pls help
