So The last few months i have noticed a lot more hair falling out of my head. In the shower, on my pillow, or just in general. I feel like my hair is thinner than its ever been. It seems like this all happened over just this last few months. I am 22 years old and this problem seemed to come out of nowhere. I do have a history of baldness on both my mom and dad's side of the family so i figured it was inevitable but didn't think it'd start in this young. I am attaching a couple of pics of my crown witch i took a picture of for the first time and its not looking good imo. But what do you guys think? Any Ideas on what to do? Thanks for any responses!

Find a girlfriend now and marry her ASAP. If you don't, you're going to be in a big surprise of how much disrespect you're going to receive as a bald man.

That's pretty much what I was going to say.

You are young with no visible hairloss......yet. So enjoy your youth, but don't forget that hairloss can creep up on you unexpectedly. So find a girl and settle down. Also, go to University and Study to be a Doctor or Engineer or something. A University degree will be extremely important in your future with employment.... and also with the ladies. Believe me.

A whole lot of pessimistic people are on this forum. If i have to shave my head then so be it. Its not going to end my life nor will i have to worry about being alone if i don't settle down now. I will fight this baldness with everything i can, but im not going to be a pussy about it. Dont try and tell me I will need hair to find somebody because its simply not true. I love myself enough to know that. Hair is hair. it serves no purpose. if i was deformed, or broken itd be a different story. But seriously just be more positive about it. I am just wondering how long i have and im debating starting propecia/monoxil/keto to help keep what i have. of i can hold onto it for another 10-15 years there may be a cure. I know people have been saying that for awhile now. but lots of science could be done by 2030. I hope i don't lose it because i enjoy having hair. but if so im gonna rock it and try not to whine about it too much.

How is your hairline ? Are you diffuse thinning in the horseshoe area ?
Look at your hair and especially at your vertex right after the shower, when your hair is wet, to see if the density is different from the sides and back.
Right now these pictures don't seem that shocking to me.

If it is male pattern baldness you should be just fine even with finasteride only, and don't pay attention to depressed people here !

It looks to be the start of male pattern baldness, get generic fincar and cut it into 4. This will cost you under $1 a day. Don't go on minoxidil yet. Try fincar for 3 months, if you experience no side effects then go on minoxidil. This way if you get any side effects you know what is causing it. Start washing your hair with nizoral twice a week. There is no excuse not to. Well done for coming on here and posting pictures. You have caught it very early so you don't need to worry. Some people get to NW5 then start to admit they may be going bald lol.

SAHSAH its a great attitude to have. but unfortunately its very easy to hold that attitude while u can easily hide your small amount of hairloss. if/when it becomes non hidable, and you have to let people see your bald spots. id like to see your attitude then. will you still be saying im not going to be a pussy about it? i doubt it. likely you will become a recluse like the rest of us. good luck anyway. if you do have male pattern baldness, then your a diffuse thinner. which essentially means u lose density all over in the nw5 pattern, but u retain your hairline for a long time. but i have to say some ppl who dont have male pattern baldness, get that small balding swirl, we all have it, some of us have a small bal;d spot there, and thats as bad as it ever gets. some people get it, then it gets bigger and bigger into male pattern baldness. too early to say which case you are. whats your dads, and brothers (if you have them) hair like?
