Had a good research into Propecia and for me, hell no is it worth the risk! Sooooooo many instances of peeps getting serious UNREVERSIBLE side effects. Read about some matey who tried to commit suicide cos of the drug. I think peeps recommending this drug to an 18 year old kid is wrong. I know some peeps don't get sides but it could F*CK his life up!
stories like what?
did this guy get a DIAGNOSIS to WHY he has ED or did he just jump to the conclusion that it was finasteride
there is no doubt a placebo effect can contribute to erectile dysfunction, erections after all are psychologically triggered ie usually in the form of liking the look of joanna angel getting pounded, also using psychology feeling like you have to discontinue a hairloss treatment wouldn't feel good, neither is losing your hair sadness leads to low self esteem and low self esteem isn't the best way to get an erection, not getting an erection leads to low self esteem, there!, a vicious cycle though without a doubt someone who ALREADY has erectile dysfunction, it won't help them make it better, it's a matter of fact that most men won't report ED straight away, they might just see it as a failure or 2
lets also take into account the probability of you having erectile dysfunction increases exponentially as you get older some people may have been on the drug for 5 years whist losing the ability to get an erection because of a completely unrelated cause, but if they are on a drug that MAY cause erectile dysfunction they will of cause blame that
smoking, drinking and obesity only to name 3 could also cause ED and it's more more likely these would cause ED than propecia and also the psychological blame factor comes in because you wouldn't see a beer, a carton of fags or a super sized big mac meal stating "may cause erectile dysfunction"
i bet you EVERYONE who reports permanent sides fall into these 3 categories
the official trial for finesteride all those years ago didn't report permanent side effects (and trust me the FDA would really look out for them)
i on the other hand would recommend propecia to an 18 year old because younger people respond better and early intervention is essential and is the big difference between someone having a NW2 or a NW5
