Help Me! 23 And Already Going Bald?

Hey guys,

I'm 23 years old old and I think I've reached the point in which there's multiple signs that signal I'm going bald.
I've always had a full head of hair and there's no cases of male pattern baldness in either side of my family, everybody has a full head of hair which worries me I might be the first bald person in my family. The signs I noticed was when I was 20 years old and I noticed a corner of my hairline started receding a bit and I thought it was normal and due to my hairline maturing. It was until last year which I noticed this issue had gotten worse as my right corner of hairline has thinned out heavily and the left has also started to thin. To make it worse, I've been loosing large amounts of hair from the top of my head over the past year to the point where I can easily see my scalp.

I'll be posting some recent pics of my situation. Any advice helps. Also, I currently don't have medical insurance so I can't afford to go to a specialist etc.

yeah its happening and from that extent of shedding I am guessing it is agressive. No need for a specialist, you need to see a regular doctor and get yourself some finasteride.

My hair up top is about 3 years old in length and I tie it up everyday but loosely not super tight like most guys do. I also rarely brush my hair to avoid the stress of looking at the hair in the sink. The 2nd & 3rd pic were taken after fully brushing my hair, maybe some of that hair had already fallen but was still tangled with the other hair?

Your shedding is worse than when i was shedding from minoxidil! Thats some serious loss man. You need to get on finasteride if you want a shot at saving what you got.

Your shedding is really bad. See a derm ASAP. Also, I don't believe finasteride would be covered by insurance.

Finasteride is cheaper than a happy meal from mcdonalds lol. If you buy 5mg pills and split into quarters it works out something like 5 to 10 dollars/euro/-pounds a month.

You can get a years worth of Fincar from All Day Chemist for like $40 USD.

I have boughten finasteride from ADC before; it takes a while to get to you (took around 3 weeks for me) but it is legit. Many people buy from there and have no problems.

I haven't had any sides. Try not to read into the horror stories; the vocal minority is always going to be present. Most guys take the drug and go on with their lives.

I had a question regarding my hair loss. What would be the treatment to start, finasteride or dutasteride? I'm skeptical over the side effects that finasteride could cause, does dutasteride have the same effects?
