I am 20 years old and since i was around 17 i have been worried about my hairline receding. i was just wondering how bad my hairline is and where about i am on the norwood scale? I would prefer to stay away from finasteride - is minoxidil a waste of time?

I have always had a huge forehead. I don't seem to have any issues with thinning in my crown region.


Genetics wise my Grandad is 80 and has a very high hairline with a clear m shape but with no crown balding and has had a similar amount of hair for the past 25 years...

My dad is 48 and had a great amount of hair until around 6/7 years ago from what i can remember.

The left side of my hairline is higher than my right slightly
