Hi,

I have been using minoxidil, nizoral and other different supplements for around a year now and got great results but those were around the 4 month mark which I had my best results... now I feel they are starting to fade and hair loss is creeping up again..

I think it is time to start on finasteride / propecia etc.. but I am just wanting help on where to get this from the UK for the best price, I have look on united pharmacies etc... but they have like finpecia, propecia, finasteride etc..

are these basically the same thing? as finpecia is the cheapest could I get this to do the same job as propecia?

Thanks

This sounds pretty typical; minoxidil can be a big help for 1-2 years, but most people aren't able to maintain for a significant amount of time on it. Your hair simply becomes too sensitive to DHT and begins to fall out in spite of minoxidil.

finasteride really should be at the base of your regimen, as it is by far the best current treatment for maintaining what you have. It would have been great if you started on that first, but it's good you are choosing to start now.

People in the UK swear by Inhousepharmacy, so I recommend looking there. All generic brands are the same; as long as it contains the active agent Finasteride, it's all good. I use a generic version of 5MG PMS-Finasteride, manufactured in Canada, and split it into quarters. It costs me less than $100/year.
