I searched several resources and decided first regimen for hair loss.
1. Minoxidil 5% (Rogaine) 2x/day (just started about 10 days ago)
2. spironolactone 2% or 5% (which one?) 2x/day <not>
3. Nizoral 2% twice/week <not>
I was concerned to use Propecia/Duta because of possible side effect. Instead, I chose topical spironolactone as DHT inhibitor, even if it's not as effective as Propecia.
Now, I am thinking to add 4. Copper Peptide, such as tricomin. How would you advise me to add #4 to my regimen?
Also, I do know shampoo has nothing to do with hair regrowth, but, I think, it can do something with thickening hair and preventing further loss.
I recently changed shampoo/conditioner to Nioxin about 2-3 weeks ago. Initially my hair looks thicker/less oilly. But, it looks like hair goes back to previous condition. I was wondering if this indicates Nioxin is not right for me (or I have to keep trying this longer). Obviously, as I add more products (#2,3, etc.), it seem to be really hard to determine the effect of Nioxin. Please advise me what to do.
