Henry Cavill - Man of Steel is balding

Henry Cavill for those who don't know is playing Superman in the Man of Steel film and he definitely looks to be balding. I first noticed his slightly receding hairline a couple years ago but I'm surprised it's worse now, I figured he'd get on treatments. He's nearly 30 and he's an NW2 heading to 3 so not horrible. But I'm sure he'll get on meds if it gets noticeably worse or get an hair transplant. Or not which would be interesting if they make another superman film, maybe wear a wig then.

I wonder how he'd look bald though with a face like that, still very handsome I'm sure.

some actors don't care. in fact it seems a lot are now starting to admit it and also a receding hairline is being worn with style. believe it or not it does not bother every man. more those with low self esteem. not everyone wants the finasteride route. check out captain america! also tom hardy is definitely receding. most of us on this forum are obsessed! I look at actors like josh duhamel, the dr who actor and gary oldman who all wear their receding hairlines with style and confidence. wish I had the courage to do the same!

Last night I was hanging out with a girlfriend of mine watching tv and she says "That guy has a horrible toupee", referring to a newscaster on the television. I told her that I thought it was his real hair, and said "You know who wears a toupee? Matthew Mcconaughey". She loves him by the way. Her jaw just dropped, and she said I was lying, but
I said "Go and type "Matthew Mcconaughey mugshot" in Google and you'll see". She didn't at the time. but I bet she did it some time today.

Why do u guys act like receding hairlines are that bad?

Jesus this nw2.5343828 mess is retarded

Nw3 and under is hardly noticeable and no one really cares

Wearing his "receded hairline" with confidence?? Lol!

Diffusing on the other hand . . . .

Relax. I'm a NW2 who's diffusing in a Norwood 6/7 pattern despite being on treatments the last 3 years and I started losing it aggressively at 19 so I could care less about having an NW1 hairline. If I had good density I'd be perfectly content with a NW3 hairline, even at 24. I just thought it was interesting that he was losing it since it's not common to see it in leading men this young.

why? because it does change your appearance. people notice it, YOU notice it the most. receding normally leading to diffuse. you can't style your hair how you use to and yes with confidence ,you ever notice how a lot of receded hairline actors tend to use their hair from the sides of their head to try cover it up with hairstyles etc. yet hes just parted it and is completely fine with it. so yes hes confident. like the rock is and vin diesel and bruce willis and many more with their shaved heads. While your on here trying to reverse it they're embracing it. Which means non of us are confident and we suffer from low self esteem.

Your opinion a lot of guys would rather have Norwood 0 then anything worse me included. Looking like a kid or younger for your age is the whole point. male pattern baldness makes you look generally older for your age otherwise if you dont care why even bother caring about male pattern baldness at all?

I agree

I like the mature look. Theres a world of difference between a badass mad men nw2 hairline and an nw5

The latter says ur too old while the former says ur perfect age

i think its a case of the grass is always greener on the other side.

men with receded hairlines want to have theyre hairline and be diffuse, while men with diffuse thinning want the receded hairline.

I find it funny that if u combine diffuse thinning (the type that retains the hairline) and normal male pattern baldness recession, u have a perfect head of hair.

personally i think this guys hair is fine, and actually the small amount of recession looks quite mature. the problem is when is progresses beyond that. for instance im fine with my current hairline if it were to stay that way Norwood 2.8 but i think its going to get worse.

I'd be happy with a full NW2, all I really ask for. A NW1/0 would be icing on the cake. I am getting closer to my goal anyway.

He actually looks better , and more like a man with a receded hairline.

It goes to show - it all comes down to how you style it.

If you are also good looking, it won't really knock points off, as in the case of this guy.

No, He looks better without a receded hairline. Once receded you are no longer able to do certain hairstyles because it looks stupid, would rather have no recession
