I plan on getting HM in 3 years. Yes, I think I can keep my hair. My hair is really thick on top. It is just the first 3 inches on top, and the first inch on the sides, that are really thin. I'm trying to use a tanning cream to hide the scalp, but the cream does not seem to work.

Don't you think it is a little risky betting on HM in three years? I hope you have a backup plan.

what could possibly be a backup plan?

he's on good treatments and some experimental ones, has had hair transplant's...

what else is there other than hair pieces?

YOu say thin in front.......see thru???

I would think it would be thicker after 2 passes.

HM in 3 yrs is a stretch man. I think it is all hype now b/c the companies peddling it are trying to get investor interest. This happens all the time on Wall Street.

Back in Sept 1988, when upjohn's rogaine hit the market the stock went up a 1/2 point. Why b/c it didnt guarantee hair growth. HM far away.

very see through. Just some sparse hair on the corners, showing a lot of scalp 1.5 inches back. I really doubt that is 40-50 grafts. I don't think a lot of them grew out. The spacing should be less than 2mm, but it is not.

Well, I think a fairly obvious one is reserving enough donor hair to at least thinly cover the rest of the area if it balds. It seems the CCS had aggressive transplants and is relying on HM to cover the rest it if balds. What if HM doesn't come for another 20 years? Is he gonna have an island of hair?

How long has it been since the last hair transplant?

Yeah, man have you discussed these issues with Dr Greene? I am sure she can shed some light on this.

My brother looked at the picture and said you're a child imprisioned in a old's man body.

Nah, he's a body double for Edward Norton.

Did you seen the prison shower scene in American History X? Very disturbing. That was CCS ....Ed's stand in.

The temple area looks quite unnatural in this picture. I'm not sure why, it looks fine in the other ones.

I'm surprised you went with Keene when there are much beter docs out there.

Damn, I look like I have goiter in that picture. I'm tucking my chin in, which makes it look worse, but I admit I have about 10 pounds more fat than ideal.

According to Dr Keene (and I agree), my temple needs to be mmoved forwards. I think 1/8 inch on that side would do, though she wants 1/4 inch. It is thin, too.

I'm not sure what happened. I know I had a lot less hair in front before getting grafts, but I don't think my upper temples have as many grafts as were planted. I can't be sure. Dr Keene says she does not know how many she put there, or how many are there now; she just puts them there artistically when she does it and does not keep record except of the total number. And no post op photos.

The first 1/4 is just one procedure thick, but I think the rest should be thicker. And I know for a fact that in some areas in the hairline, they did not grow out. There is no way I'm going back for more even though she offered it free of charge. I don't want to wait 3+ months for healing when I'm making this much progress in the gym. Donor hair is limited, and I'd rather wait for HM or something later.

CCS,

Have you discussed this with your surgeon?

She thinks my hair just looks thin in the corners because it is curling towards the center. She offered to put more grafts in there for free. I think there is more to the story than that, but can't prove it without photos. I'm not going back even if it is free.

As for my backup plan, I'll tan my scalp with sunnless tanner for now, and if I have to shave, at least I'll have roots near the front, and I can maybe get subdermal tatoos of hair roots behind that.

Perhaps you should get out it in a bit, CCS. No sun = unhealthy.

The temple area looks colored in. Actually it's the way he is grooming it and possibly the color difference between donor which is usually darker and more coarse vs non donor hair.

If donor hair is curly, that would explain the uneven lumpy look of the temple area from that angle. I would suspect that a good surgeon would have some way of dealing with that problem. I am concerned that Keene is recommending so many changes post-surgery. It seems those things should have been worked out beforehand.

I swear that this words are not mine but of my brother. He looked at the picture of CCS where he has no shirt (where you said to put the shirt on and take a pic).
