Okay so i just started getting a receeding hair line maybe 2 years ago, it did not get pretty bad tell like 7 months ago, assumimg i am a responder to the treatment (the big 3) how long would it take to get regrowth pretty much good enough that i can keep my hair cut short with out being embarssed lol...anyone have any of there own experinces with a similar situation, or does anyone know enough about this stuff to give me a good answer?

Assuming that you do respond really well and get visible regrowth - anything from eight months to two years.

Second thought: having your hair short usually makes it look less thin, but as I haven't seen your hair I can't tell.

What sort of hairloss you got then? If you got the nasty receding at the temples so you'll end up with a tuft of hair in the middle your in sh it street son. You can rub minoxidil on those temples forever and you aint gonna see nothing, nudder, zilch, f*** all!!!! There is no evidence to say propecia works in that area either- as the company states. Id rather be bald at the back where you can put up a little bit of a fight! Lucky for me tho im on a maitaining mission with finasteride and nizoral - shedding like a loser tho!

You'll be alright, keep up the regimen and keep putting the minoxidil onto your temples or wherever you need it, and if you are a good responder like pbz said you can turn it around in about a year
