I need some advice, I have been on Testosterone replacement for deficiency for a year, but my hair seemed ok until 3 months ago when I started Arimidex(controls estrogens). I do not plan on using proscar/finesteride due to a risk of libido loss which I am not too keen on experiencing again, which I guess people here might see as a stupid idea because my DHT is 1.5x the upper limit. Although dutasteride is a possible option for me.

I am currently using the amazing laser brush for 5 mins every 2nd day. 5% minoxidil twice a day and I am starting 2% nizorol every 3 days this week.

I know it doesnt look bad at all, but with my hormone profile I am on my way to chrome dome town and I know the earlier you fight hairloss the better.

What can you guys recomend I add to use.

Thanks.

I am happy to report that minoxidil seems to be working so far, I have definetly seen some very fine dark hairs where there was only peach fuzz before, right where my hairline used to be in the worse areas on my pic.
I was using rogaine 2% for 2 weeks, I switched to 5%(Generic, "Hair A-Gain") last week, this is my 4th week. I am going to get another haircut again in afew days and will take a photo at the same length but I doubt there will be any visable difference on my 2 MP camera.

Just a tip, for the people experiencing what seems to be flaking but is actually dried up minoxidil, rub it in more, I learnt this trick from testogel, if you rub it in until its almost dried it wont flake up and probly work better if anything.

I cant say that it does but cant say it doesnt, I used it for 2 weeks before starting rogaine and noticed nothing, my hairloss continued at the same rate, I will continue using it for maybe the next 6-12 months out of good measure but if I am lucky enough to get to maintanance I will be packing it away, atm I am confident with rogaine so I havent really been using the brush every 2nd day.

Just to elaborate on my history, I am 24, my hairline matured at 21-22, I have been on Testosterone replacement for 12 months with no ill effects on my hair until 3 months ago when I started Arimidex .5mg every 3 days where I quickly noticed my hairline thinning in a large area.

Cant hurt, just dont get the laser in your eyes cause some people get a headache, but you shouldnt maintain with it alone.

I had low T with symptoms not sure why but it was confirmed by 2 doctors.

Here is an update not the best though as my hairline is cropped in this pic and slightly shorter, but you can see there isnt that stupid triangle as much at the front, I think there is shedding at the crown not too sure but lots and lots of new dark hairs where it has been cropped.

A tip from my barber, when applying Rogaine, use a cotton tip, I find it usefull to get a correct hairline happening.

Be bald or have a full head of hair and lose 2 inches of c***?
Hmmm

I'll take the baldness.

I'd strongly vote to find SOMETHING to fight the scalp DHT. nizoral is better than nothing but it's not a whole lot yet. Topical spironolactone, maybe even mess with RU . . . anything is better than leaving the stuff to run amok on your head when you've got elevated DHT levels. minoxidil won't give a long-term gain like a DHT fighter will.

Its working so well though, do you think it will stop working after a while? maybe I will add spironolactone later on.
