Id like to first thank the people who have setup GourmetStyleWellness as I have been a lurker for quite a while but have plucked up the courage now to get a bit of personal advice.

Im currently 21 but have been losing my hair since I was 18. From the age of 18 I just buzzed my hair every other day to make it look perfect as it looked completely fine at that length. But obviously as the years have gone on the diffuseing (is that even a word? :p) got worse and worse.

Every once in a while I grow my hair for a few weeks to see what stage my male pattern baldness is at.

I currently have taken no medication of any sort or any shampoos, creams.. etc.

Looking at my photo is it even worth using such things as rogaine and propecia to attempt to grow back my hair? or is too far gone? Id really appreciate straight up answers. At this very moment in time I have no bald patches.

I was thinking a style like this would be perfect for me:

is it realistically possible though from looking at my attached picture after using products such as rogaine and finasteride

Sure it's possible. Realistically, I'd never expect your temples to 100% fill back in. You can fix up the diffuse thinning on the top of your head and vertex, however. Use minoxidil foam of any kind, and after you do some research on side effects, and if you justify the small risk vs reward, then use propecia or finasteride of some brand.

thanks for the reply mate :], im not too bothered about the temples to be honest as I will be having my hair styled in ways in which the sides will always be buzzed. would rogaine and finasteride be the best ones to go with?

Rogaine Foam and Propecia would be the best, but there are generics that are much cheaper and do the same exact thing.

Hey 123, None of the products work. Any generic finasteride is conterfeit. Maybe, If you spent the rest of your life, taking finasteride, using Very expensive treatments, But, I quit them All and Dont recomend any treatments. I guess im NW6, Been Using razor for almost a year now. It is not worth using products like rogain or propecia to regrow your hair.
