High Grade Skunk Weed-Head

This has been discussed before but I'm a little disappointed in how incredibly strongly my head smells of skunk weed the morning after my nightly 5% spironolactone cream application. I only put it on my hairline and temples thinly after 15-20 mins after my minoxidil application.

Is it just the way the cream smells due to the active ingredient (spironolactone)? Or is the smell created by the mixture of minoxidil and spironolactone?

It smells that bad that I may have to bin it from my regimen.

Any thoughts?

I'm going to be using spironolactone 5% myself. I'm gonna smell like a skunk. Now all I need is a white stripe down the center of my head and I can go to work as Pepe Lapue. :lol:

I find that only the 2% smells, a little bit.

Maybe it depends on the type of minoxidil you're using. I'm using Equate (the Wal-Mart brand).

I use that Wal-Mart Equate %5 Minoxidil brand myself. 3 months supply for $19.95. When most are only 2 month supply for $19.95. Unless you can find a better deal somewhere's else.

I combine minoxidil and spironolactone 5% and don't smell a thing...

I don't know about it smelling like skunk weed but apply the spironolactone first since it drys quicker and give it 20-30 minutes then the minoxidil. You still smell it but not as much.
