Wow this thread really blew up. Im really happy this excited people for Histogen, and I am getting more and more confident with their treatment. Lets see if this interview can get us more reason to be happy.

Anyone who can afford a $12k hair transplant can afford $4k a year for a much better protocol.

Yeah but a superior treatment should, above all, yield better results. I'm pretty sure invasiveness and convenience rank rather low among considerations when it comes to hair loss treatments. The main problem has always been satisfactory results.

I'm not at all complaining about the price; I'd be willing to dish out several times that amount for something that actually worked. But from what we've seen, it doesn't appear to work nearly as good as we need it to.

It's not that simple when you consider you may be depleting you finances on a treatment that's not going to work and eventually winding up short for one that would.

Anyone know the status of this gourmetstylewellness.com Histogen interview with Gail? Was supposed to be published yesterday or today.

I'm sure they'll post it when they get a chance, give them some time. It's great they were able to get almost all the questions answered.

I've been wanting to let the @Admin know for a while how great this website update has been. Not sure where the proper place was to post it but I've been a part of several different online communities over the years and this new forum setup is top notch. Thanks!

On page 22, histogen claims permanent hair growth

Lovin the positivity in this thread but from the recent interview with Dr. Gail Naughton and Eileen Brandt said to expect terminal hair for 2-5 years which is still great IMO.

Did I miss something or is the information really contradicting? It makes a massive difference if it really permanent.

The document said permanent for atleast 2 years, but I also think they dont have data further than that. 2 years is all we need before other treatments start to become available though.

2-5 years from the recent interview. Like about 3 years though (average). In any case, you can always go for repeat injections anyway. And yes, 2020 or shortly after will have the final solution from Tsuji (plus all the other potential suff coming out). There's a LOT to look forward to.

Bro, Im so hyped. I really want to see Japan. If replicel is really only going to be $800-$1000, a month in Japan to neutralize the dht, and depending on how much regrowth I think it maybe a better option than Histogen, then going 3 times to Mexico. If the hairloss is topped we can jsut wait for the tratements to come to America. Im feeling alot better tbh.

Don't forget about Follica, Setipiprant, CB-03-01 and Samumed! All that on top of minoxidil and finasteride (if u wanna take that poison) should give some impressive results.

If the best case scenario happens and Histogen/Follica/Replicel all meet their expectations and timelines, stuff like CB/Seti/SM will be dead in the water. Even Replicel would make those three obsolete.

I think Hoffman and Buckler spoke of the possibility of having the rch-01 repeated twice at 6 months apart in order to reach all of the hairs.

That would mean a lot of time spent and travel to Japan lol.

Yeah that's exactly how I feel. The only thing other than replicel, histogen, and Follica in paying attention to, is Brotzu's lotion. And even that is only because it will be available before these other treatments hopefully to bridge us until the new "big 3" are available. Not to mention it would be a lot cheaper to just buy some of the lotion and have it at least maintain ur hair until these treatments come to America so we can save on the air fare.

Damn, your right. If it's more than one session that would get expensive real quick. I'm really hoping Brotzu's lotion comes through for us lmao, at least until replicel and histogen and Follica becomes available in the US.

Also, Brotzu could potentially work well with Follica (Follica to create thousands of de novo vellus hairs, Brotzu to make them terminal). Thus replacing minoxidil and finasteride together.

A lot is riding on Brotzu. Brotzu or bust.

I can totally get behind this lmao. We can also do Follica to make vellus hair and histogen to make them terminal as well.
