Hi, i am new to the hairloss subject, having just decided to do something about my hair (have been thinning for three years, since I was 17), possibly a propecia and minoxidil treatment. Does anyone have any comments on the results you can get from courses of laser treatment? Are they anywhere near comparable to minoxidil? I wondered why noone seems to mention them.

I've heard some people having quite a bit of success with LLLT laser. If you wanted to try it out, this looks like a cheap potential option: http://beurersoftlaser.com/faq.htm

Otherwise, I have heard it is possible to buy a laser comb, not sure where though.

I use the lasercomb. Although it doesn't prevent or stop DHT, it will improve the overall thickness of your hair. Add it to your regimen, I think you'll be pleased with the results.
