How common is Gynecomastia from finasteride, what to do if you get it?

Quick question as the title says, how common is Gynecomastia as a side-effect of finasteride? I have not found any specific numbers on this specific side-effect, but i'm assuming it might be included in that 1-3% of sides, not sure.

Also what do you do if you actually get Gyn?

I feel this is probably an under-emphasized side compared to ED, so was interested in knowing what the community knows.

It's hard to answer that question.
There are some estrogen-sensitive guys who develop gyno, but there is a substantial amount more who don't.
Everyone's body reacts differently to certain medications.
Gyno doesn't just happen over night either. It's not like one morning you just wake up from a wet dream thinking your feeling some girls boobs, only to realize they are in fact your own.
Gyno is progressive, and as long as you don't have any signs of it post-puberty, the likelihood of developing man breasts is unlikely, albeit not impossible.

If one were to begin experiencing nipple sensitivity, tingling, and puffiness, this would be a good indication that gyno is on its way and I would strongly suggest to them to acquire some Nolvadex and aromasin to combat it. Unless small "lumps" form underneath your nipple, Nolva+aromasin can likely make everything normal.

If lumps are present the only viable option would be surgery.

It's not common but it happens. 1% may be right. I had mild gyne or pseudo gyne before finasteride, finasteride didn't make it any worse or (better). Your options for dealing with gyne are quitting finasteride an hoping it goes away or surgery. Dedicated gyne sites or body building sides may have more info on dealing with gyne.
